“I Do Not Seek My Own Will”

This was also Jesus’ own testimony about Himself: “Not to do My own will.” John 6:38. In other words, He had a will of His own that He was neither able nor supposed to follow if He was to carry out the will of God at all times.

This is why His motto was: “Not My will, but Yours be done, O God.”
