“The Seed of the Woman”

No sooner had man fallen than God Himself prophesied concerning Christ manifested in the flesh, saying: “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall crush your head, and you shall bruise crush His heel.” Genesis 3:15.

The Seed of the woman was to crush the power of Satan. We couldn’t wish for a more powerful testimony regarding the state and the person of Christ according to the flesh. The Father was speaking about Christ when He said “her Seed”. According to the flesh He was truly of the seed of the woman. Romans 1:3-4. This was not just “in a manner of speaking,” nor was it make-believe.

This is the unanimous testimony of the Scriptures, which we will quote extensively as we proceed. And this is the testimony we must believe.
