I hope that you already received my most recent letter. I’m doing well, praise God for that. I wanted to let you know, in case you hadn’t already heard, that Aksel is getting married to Helga Haanes on Saturday, October 31, in Arendal.

Aksel had been feeling lonely for a long period of time, and he had always thought that Helga was the one God had chosen for him. By God’s grace she has now had a breakthrough and wants to live completely and unreservedly for God. I think she will be good for Aksel. She is a stable person, and once she becomes spiritual, she will be a good support for him. It is good to entrust yourself completely to the will of God in such important matters. Not only in this area, but in everything.

On Monday evening we had a Bible study here. A lively argument broke out. Br. X fought better than I would have imagined. And he had many people to contend with. I only had to say something every now and then. As it was reaching the boiling point, it seemed like the leader was about to call an end to the meeting. I then told them that it would be good for them to receive light and judgment in their congregation, so that death would not gain the upper hand. They were in complete agreement on this point. We spoke about being baptized with the Holy Spirit and about the forgiveness of sins. All they wanted to hear was that everything was going well for them; but at the end of the meeting, both the leader and the others prayed very sincerely for more of God’s Spirit and power. In the end, they were all full of exceeding joy.

Afterward, I spoke with X, who was very happy with the meeting, about using the sword and not holding back. He understood that this was necessary in order to be able to divide. I think it will go well for him.

They discussed what it is that people say when they speak in tongues. During the time of prayer, I felt a strong urge to speak in tongues and did so. It was completely different from anything they had previously understood, so they cried out and prayed to God to be filled with the Spirit of God.

I was glad to hear that things are going well in Denmark.
