Peace.
It’s been a long time since I’ve heard from you; I don’t remember who wrote last. I was just in Horten and Drøbak in October; everything was the same as usual. I also greeted Br. Moe, from Evanger. I spoke with Br. Kvalheim, Ananias Kvalheim, and Oldeide in Moldøen. Oldeide believes he has come to the right place now. The friends in Moldøen purchased a motorboat for 2,300 kroner; they are now traveling around and working with people in different places.
I received a letter from Br. Lohne today; he says there are now some friends in Haugesund who are willing to listen to him. He sounded really happy. Now he has moved into his new place and has started holding meetings there.
Things are going very well in Ålesund. They have tried a few different things and have understood to appreciate God’s grace. They are satisfied with their situation and want to develop in it.
Jørgine Pettersen has now returned to Ålesund and is working at the same place as before. Gunda Willersrud is back home in Kløften with her parents. She has written to the friends in Ålesund and said that she does not feel led to return to Ålesund yet.
I have not received any letters for a while now. Br. Risnes and Br. Hågensen are still in Sarpsborg. The last Sunday that I was in Ålesund, Br. Bolsønes from Molde was there too. He rejoiced with the friends and wanted someone to come to Molde. I spoke with Br. Belden from the Stad peninsula (Anna Belden’s father); he has come into conflict with people there on the Stad peninsula because of his faith.
I would be very happy to hear some words from you soon, dear brother. I hope that it’s going well with the friends in Vardø. I believe that many of those who want to join in have not received the baptism of the Spirit, so they do not have the power that is necessary to live this life. We should ask people whether they have received the Spirit of God after having received the forgiveness of sins.
Greet the friends.
Warm greetings from your brother in the Lord,
Johan
