It appears that war is breaking out. The war is the Lord’s. We need to take heed to counsel when waging war. Do not answer anyone according to their words, but rather according to their innermost thoughts. Avoid opening yourself up to attack. This is done by constantly speaking and writing in the Spirit. In this way, we can go on the offensive and head straight into the enemy camp without being struck by a single arrow. The leaders are blocking access to this life of continual progress; they have no right to do so, and it will be their downfall if they do not get their eyes opened and realize what they’re doing. When they fight against the truth like this, they will resort to weapons of lies, and when this becomes clear, it will undermine them even more quickly. Therefore, we can have complete rest and stand still and watch as the Lord fights for us. Our zeal will only consume ourselves, but the zeal of the Lord will consume those who oppose us.They are blocking the way into the sanctuary. That is their sin. People are just sheep. When the shepherds are taken captive, the sheep are scattered.

May God give us grace to be still and at rest in the right battle, with our ears open to hear the right words and to know what is the right time and the right response.
