Horten, June 5, 1913
Dear Br. Elias Aslaksen,
God’s peace.

I have enclosed a number of letters from Aksel. In the margin of each letter, you can read where he would like to have them forwarded.

You have probably received a written invitation from Br. Ellefsen to come and hold some meetings here. We have rented two rooms and a kitchen in the Rabben district in town, and we plan to advertise some meetings there. There is room for around 90-100 people. Aksel was here on Tuesday. We had a blessed conversation at Br. Berg’s place, where the whole flock was gathered. Berg is now the music leader, and he is teaching Nore and Karine to play guitar. He plays the flute.

I have enclosed the stamps we received for Prayer. Aksel has just published a small booklet (a tract consisting of around sixteen pages, which is approximately half the size of our paper) about the false teachings that are found within the free assemblies. It will probably be distributed as a supplement to issue number 6 of Skjulte Skatter.

The friends here are working their way to more and more oneness—one heart and one soul. Things are also progressing in other places. I believe that God will send you out again soon. Hurumlandet and Kristiansand are now becoming more receptive. You must use the money from Prayer to support yourself and your family. Just like any other mortal man, you cannot survive on nothing. Likewise, you should use the 300 kroner you received from Gjertrud Wehme. Now is not the time to save up piles of money in bank accounts, but rather to work in the Lord’s vineyard and to use what He sends our way, according to the light and the grace that God gives.

Father has written that they now wish to hear the word of the cross in Kristiansand. But no doubt much needs to be broken down there.

Loving greetings from all of us here.

Your brother,

Johan
