Revival in the 1990’s

For the sake of history and the future generations, it is important to know what occurred in these serious and momentous years in the church. For my part, I have no vengeful motive or malicious pleasure in what I write here. On the contrary, my wholehearted desire is to be reunited with each and every brother and sister that has departed from the ways of righteousness, as long as they repent and put things in order with God and with people. In the past few years, several of those who strongly opposed the church and me personally have returned and asked for forgiveness with tears, deeply regretting the evil they did.

Only through humility and godly fear can they atone for their misdeeds and dishonor. This amazing prophetic word also testifies about this: “For I heard many mocking: ‘Fear on every side!’ ‘Report,’ they say, ‘and we will report it!’ All my acquaintances watched for my stumbling, saying, ‘Perhaps he can be induced; then we will prevail against him, and we will take our revenge on him.’ But the Lord is with me as a mighty, awesome One. Therefore my persecutors will stumble, and will not prevail. They will be greatly ashamed, for they will not prosper. Their everlasting confusion will never be forgotten.” Jer. 20:10-11. Some of these opposers put their affairs in order a short time before they died, and I rejoice that God has His way with people and can save them for eternity. As for those who are still alive, I would like to ask them earnestly to reconsider how they will spend eternity.

“Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, rebuke the oppressor; defend the fatherless, plead for the widow. ‘Come now, and let us reason together,’ says the Lord ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword’; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” Is. 1:16-20.
