The Message From the Son

“God, who at various times and in different ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son.” Heb. 1:1-2. A tremendous salvation is revealed to us through the message from the Son. God could not give a human being a more glorious message. Therefore, the exhortation resounds not to drift away from what we have heard. We are tempted to drift away because the message from heaven leads us to the altar of sacrifice. Through this message we are able to see the things that must be sacrificed in our flesh so that we can be conformed to Christ. This process goes through sufferings to glory.

God has, according to the good pleasure of His will, chosen us before the foundation of the world. He meant it seriously when He chose us. His determined opinion is that it will succeed for us. God has planned a glorious future for the elect. That is why we must hold unshakably fast to the hope of the gospel when the lamp of the Spirit—by the Word of God—shines on the veil, which is the flesh. The Spirit also reveals what lies behind the veil. We are allowed to see what suffering in the flesh leads to—eternal glory! We hear the message from heaven, and we look into the glory of Christ.

God has given us the Holy Spirit as the guarantee of our inheritance, and through the Spirit we can make ourselves ready. Let us be on guard against all superficiality, so that we are faithful to the Holy Spirit in our daily lives. We live in the end days, the days of the bride’s preparation. The time is near at hand. We are not to be afraid or fearful, and neither should we try to figure out the day of Jesus’ return. We must live in fellowship with the Holy Spirit, and then the Spirit will give us the promptings and the help we need to prepare ourselves.

Where the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered. The eagles are renewed in the spirit of their mind. They have power to rise high above all earthly circumstances. Jesus will gather the eagles, those who soar above the carcass. In the carcass death is at work. We must bear the dying of Jesus in our bodies, and then we will have a message from heaven to bring to others. It requires death to all flesh, but it gives life to our spirit. If we continue in this development, we will have an abundant entrance into the kingdom of heaven.
