Strayed Concerning the Faith

Unripe fruits

In order to save their false teachings concerning all self-life being removed, people grasp the most unbelievable means. A sister was a bit impatient one day. Then she went past a tree bearing unripe fruits. “Here I got a great comfort,” she said, “for such is my patience; it’s not ripe yet.”

Therefore, a little impatience is immature patience. Then when a little impatience become ripe, it becomes patience. According to this, a little lying is immature truth, so when it becomes ripe, it becomes truth, a little theft becomes honesty, a little impetuosity becomes gentleness - it just has to mature. This teaching does not allow for self-acknowledgement, therefore everything must be the fruits of the Spirit. This is in the same direction that Aksel found elsewhere with the same teaching. Nothing is done so well that it cannot be done better. So, when the imperfect is done better, it becomes perfect. It’s the same only in another way. Just because self-acknowledgment is excluded, people make such perversions from lies and darkness to conceal themselves. To acknowledge their selfishness in matters is contrary to the teaching, so they mix lies and truth together; instead of letting it become an essential difference, there is only a difference in degree between the truth and lying.
