Grace and peace from God through Christ.
Thank you for your very good letter. I’m glad you’re going to talk to the actresses and Pastor Amli. When you are in the Spirit and speak in the Spirit, you will receive grace from God to give them guidance. Great firmness must be shown to such people––in love, because while they are smiling, they are also making their own observations. If we are to be pillars in the temple of God, then they must find their support in us and not us in them. God’s people need leaders, and they appreciate leadership when they know that you are seeking what is truly best for them. The actresses and perhaps Amli also need to be shown the way clearly and distinctly, and then they can decide for themselves if they want to be enemies of the cross of Christ, or if they want to go on the way.
Notice the difference between Heb. 9:14 and Heb. 13:20.
1) First, Christ was able to offer Himself in the power of the eternal Spirit.
2) And then God, in the power of the blood of the everlasting covenant, could bring the great Shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus, up from the dead.
The blood was offered through the eternal Spirit. This blood was the blood of the everlasting covenant. This means that this beautiful work of Christ must have been in God’s heart from time eternal. Now Christ has been raised for our justification, and God was able to raise Him up in the power of the blood of the everlasting covenant. Having the knowledge that we are justified in the resurrection of Christ is one thing; understanding it is something else altogether. I believe the road to understanding lies buried here, because if the blood of the covenant is everlasting, then the sin which the blood cleanses away must be temporary. God Himself has ordained this blood as the blood of an everlasting covenant, and in its power He has raised Christ and us with Him from the dead. So, then it is the blood of the everlasting covenant, this power of God which was bound, which is released in the resurrection life. In other words, the power that the Spirit manifests in order to bring forth the blood is hidden in the blood, because Christ offered Himself in the power of an eternal Spirit. That’s why the Spirit and the blood are one. The blood is the power of God materialized, which was released in the resurrection of Christ. Just as hidden power is contained in a charge of gunpowder, so the blood contains hidden power.
The very thing which causes death brings back to life.
Just these few words. Everything is going well here. Greetings to everyone at home.
Your brother in the blood and the Spirit,
JohanIf this wine is cloudy, then let it settle until it becomes clarified, because it is difficult to explain these things.
