God’s peace!
Thank you very much for your very good letters which I received today. You are highly esteemed in the Lord, and you are honored among the brethren for your steadfastness in the fierce battles and the great conflicts that have befallen the church in Sarpsborg.
May God give you a blessed time together with our beloved brothers, Br. Risnes and Br. Hågensen. Fibo Johansen, Sr. Johansen’s daughter, and others who have persevered in the trials, should also be honored together with you. The desire of my heart is that now you may prosper and have peace. Br. Risnes will be a help and support for you, just as you will be able to help him in whatever he might need. He came to you because he was driven by the Spirit. Personally, I can’t praise Br. Risnes highly enough for his zeal for the kingdom of God, which will be beneficial for you and the church in Sarpsborg. From now on, those brothers in Sarpsborg who have wavered back and forth will not be permitted to have any authority or influence. Br. Risnes will put in order what needs to be put in order, and if anyone is unhappy with how it is, they will have to do battle with Br. Risnes, and then God will give His approval to the one who is in the right. Those of you who have suffered under all of this are the ones who are best able to appreciate having stable spiritual leadership. It was a great joy to me to observe your testimony in this matter. Most likely, Br. Hågensen will also be there with you for a while in order to help out. He is a precious brother, who is highly regarded in the Navy, and even more importantly, he has continued to make rapid progress. I believe God will use him both among you and among His people in general. If any of the brothers who previously attended the meetings want to come, let them come; but they need to be submissive, because they have proved themselves to be incompetent when it comes to the ministry. May God bless you both abundantly for your faithfulness in the Spirit.
Greet the other sisters.
Greet those precious brothers, Br. Risnes and Br. Hågensen. I would really like to hear from you soon about how things are going in Sarpsborg.
Greetings from your brother in the Lord, with peace from God,
