Thank you for your two good letters which I recently received. I see you are now in Kristiania, and that you are planning to meet up with us at Pentecost. We could, God willing—and as I also mentioned in a letter to Aksel—meet in Moss on Pentecost Sunday. We plan to leave here around 8 a.m. In the evening we could—provided everything works out—travel back here to Horten and talk together on Monday. You are very welcome to come to Br. Ellefsen’s place, and, if you would like, you are welcome to stay there for a few days after Pentecost.

We are really looking forward to seeing you and Aksel again. Of ourselves we can do nothing. If God wants to accomplish something through us, He must work in us what to say and what to do. We just have to present ourselves as servants at all times. It was blessed and faith-strengthening to hear how the word is finding an open door in Hønefoss.

What you mentioned about working outside the church was very good. It is vanity to squander one’s energy outside the body. The seed must be sown within the body if it is to bear fruit.
