Thanks for the card. Sigurd Kristoffersen has ordered 40 copies of Prayer, which we are now sending to him at Mysen in Smaalenene. At the same time, he is asking about receiving a commission from the sales. Please let me know so I can give him an answer. He sent 5 copies to Tobiassen, and now he is asking for 10 more. He’s on board the Valkyrjen and sailing along the coast between Bergen and Stavanger. As you probably know, about 47 copies have been sent to someone named Olsen in Sarpsborg. Some have been sent to Father in Kristiansand. If you like, I can send you up to 50 kroner for the copies of Prayer, provided you send me a receipt.

Aksel was not well received in Kristiansand. The leaders of the free assembly sat on the front pew, and while Aksel was speaking, they shouted out in unison, “Not true, not true, not true.” Nor did they want him to hold Bible studies. It’s going well! God is with us in everything.
