Far More Than All That We Ask or Think

Ephesians

Far More Than All That We Ask or Think

“Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, for ever and ever. Amen.” Verses 20-21.

It is a natural thing for a human being to mature, and in time he will be able to take charge of and manage bigger things than he could to begin with. One doesn’t put an ignorant person in charge of a large commercial enterprise.

The scriptures say that God will do far more than we could ask or think, according to the power that works effectively in us. This must mean that great prospects are in store for us, things so great that we don’t even understand to ask for them. But they will come to us quite naturally according to the power of the Spirit and along those lines in which the Spirit has already begun to work.
