The Difference between Life and Teaching

Among these people we find a big, yes, huge difference between their life and their teaching. But when their confession goes far beyond their life, then the difference between their life and their confession is just hypocrisy - only under a more spiritual appearance. When people say one thing and are different from what they say, that has to be the only conclusion. If you then preach the difference, as far as you can see it, between their life and their confession, they immediately cry out about bondage to the law. To follow the truth would be bondage to them. Yes, that is true; for where truth has not become life through acknowledgment, one cannot do it without it being bondage. But when they have excluded any self-acknowledgment, then they have also excluded acknowledgment of the truth, and therefore the truth itself, which can only be obtained in this way.
