Let Me Glean After Him in Whose Eyes I Might Find Grace
Verse 2
Ruth was poor and needed help. She was looking for someone who might be gracious to her. How blessed it is when you are needy to be able to walk in Jesus’ steps that drip with fatness.
“Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses. And He led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city for habitation. Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness.” Ps. 107:5-9.
Yes, one could truly say this about Naomi and Ruth.
