Let Her Glean Even Among the Sheaves

It is a great privilege to be allowed to glean among the sheaves, because that is where the ears are the most plentiful. A humble soul grows in grace and finds abundant nourishment. Boaz had commanded his young men not to harm her. This is like the Savior, who even today commands that we shall not harm a soul who is humble and who gleans, but rather be gentle and helpful toward him.
