Blessed Be the One Who Took Notice of You
Many of our contemporary leaders would have warned Ruth about a person who took notice of her. Imagine if Boaz had taken notice of her to the point where Naomi had lost her? Naomi be blessed! On her way from the land of Moab she had offered up Orpah as well as Ruth. She did not seek her own; therefore she received Ruth as an eternal possession. She was just glad that someone had taken notice of her and was good to her. Blessed be the one who took notice of you! A distinguishing mark of all God’s servants is that they are not biased. They know what they are, what they have, and for whom they are working. Therefore they can safely let go of their Ruth. Their mutual love relationship will draw her back. Naomi paid attention only to what Ruth had gleaned and for whom she had worked.
