“And the Two Shall Become One Flesh”

“This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.” Eph. 5:31-32. If we truly are crucified with Christ (Gal. 2:20, 5:24, 6:14), then we are both one spirit and one flesh with Him. It is on the cross that we become one with Him! That is where the same flesh suffers the same death, and the result is the same quickening according to the Spirit Rom. 6:5.

Despite the fact that it is so simple and straightforward, it is, nevertheless, in the words of Paul, a great mystery, which God reveals to whomever He pleases.
