“Nor Did His Flesh See Corruption”
Acts 2:30-32
Why did His flesh not see corruption? Because all sin was condemned in this flesh. Rom. 8:3. (The Father condemned it, and the Son always agreed with this judgment.) Because all of God’s will had been carried out to the uttermost, there was absolutely no reason, no justification at all, for His flesh to see corruption. Therefore God raised up this Jesus from the dead who, according to the flesh, was a fruit of the body of David, but who also—through faithfulness and obedience to the point of death, was able to have all sin in this flesh condemned.
