Peace.
Thank you very much for your good letter from Bergen after you returned from your leave. It was good to hear from you after your trip. I am traveling to Horten with a few people, and God willing, we will depart with the crew from Kristiansund on April 3. If the boat is on schedule, we will arrive in Bergen on April 4. The crew normally eats at the Seamen’s Hostel in Nordnæs before setting sail at 7:00 p.m. the same evening. I’ll be a bit busy, but it would be a pleasure to see you—if that works for you.
I’ll have one week of leave when I get to Horten. If we arrive there on the evening before Easter (Saturday), then I will leave Horten on Saturday evening the following week and arrive in Bergen on Sunday evening at 9:15. If there is no boat sailing north, I will stay overnight in Bergen until Monday evening—and if there is no room in a hotel, perhaps it would be possible to stay on board the Nordstjernen, and we could spend some time together there. I plan to send you a card to let you know when I leave Horten.
Br. Hågensen will be here for Easter. The Valkyrjen departs from Haugsholmen to Ålesund on the evening before Easter, where it will stay for Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. Risnes was here last week when we were in Haugsholmen. He visited all of the friends during the two days he was here, and they were greatly strengthened after his visit. I received a letter from Br. Risnes yesterday. He would really like to come here for Easter, along with Br. Strand and Br. Kuhlen. The friends here are doing well; we have had quite a few Bible studies together. Br. Hågensen is making good progress.
So, all the best dear brother, and God willing, we will see one another in the near future.
Warm greetings from your brother,
Johan
