I just wrote a letter to you, but since then I have been inquiring about lodging. G. Nilsen, a private hotel in Langgaten, which is in our immediate vicinity, only costs 0.80 kroner per night, with two people to a room. With a single occupant, the room is 1.00 kroner. For an additional 0.10 kroner you get a cup of coffee and a couple sandwiches in the morning. The hostess and her children are seeking God, as they say, and it would be nice if everyone from Hønefoss could stay with her. There is room for nine people. It would be a shame if it got filled up with other people. There isn’t any other place that is cheaper and nicer, and it is also centrally located, near the lodge.

At Lørje’s hotel, the price is 1.00 kroner for a double room; 1.25 kroner for a single room.

Write soon and book a reservation at Nilsen’s hotel; it’s the best, cheapest, and most comfortable place. The expense is minimal. The rooms are small but cozy and clean.
