Rom. 8:28.
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God . . . .” Rom. 8:28.
Why all the dissatisfaction in this world? Where does it come from? Why this glaring lack of rest on the day of adversity? Surely people don’t have anything against something that works for their good! We have the Scriptures, and the Scriptures are true. The sad thing is that either people do not love God, and therefore keep all good away from themselves, or they do not have the living faith that is necessary to believe this Scripture. So the Word did not benefit them, as it says in Hebrews 4.
Faith in this Word works wonders! It means that I constantly reap only benefit and advantage from everyone and everything I meet on my way, no matter what it is.
It is almost impossible to explain it here in this world. But, praise be to God, it can be experienced properly right here in the midst of this corruptible world. Indeed, it is in this life that this Word is of such great significance.
